Privacy policy
This page says what happens to the information you send us, in the order it happens.
When this was last updated
This page was last updated on September 17, 2026. North Shore Plumbing operates this site from Illinois.
What the form collects
The request form asks for your name, your phone number, your email address, your town, the kind of work you need, how urgent it is, and a description of the problem. Those seven things are all it asks for.
The site also receives the ordinary technical details any website receives when you visit: your IP address, the browser you use, and the page you asked for.
Why we collect it and who receives it
We collect the request so a plumber can answer it. Your name, phone number, email address, town, and description of the problem are shared with a third party licensed plumber, so that they can contact you about the work you asked for. That sharing is the point of the form, and it is the most important line on this page.
That plumber is a separate business. Once your request reaches them, their own privacy terms cover what they do with it, and you can ask them directly.
We share the request for that one purpose. We do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
The services that process it
Form submissions are processed by GoHighLevel, also known as LeadConnector, which stores requests on our behalf. The site itself is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles the traffic and keeps the usual server logs.
Both companies act as our suppliers. Each has its own privacy terms for the data it holds.
What the plumber pays, and what we do not sell
Your details go only to the plumber who receives your request. That plumber may pay us a referral fee for the introduction. The fee is paid by the plumber, never by you, and it does not change the price you agree for the work.
We do not sell or rent personal data to marketers, data brokers, or lead lists. We do not send one request out to several companies to bid on it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your agreement.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The embedded request form may set cookies it needs to work, and the blog runs on GoHighLevel, which sets its own. If your browser blocks cookies, the rest of the site still works.
Where the law requires a consent banner before a cookie is set, that consent is asked for first, and a refusal does not stop you sending a request.
How long we keep it
We keep a request while it is useful for following up on the work, and we clear out old ones. Ask us to remove yours sooner and we will.
Asking for a copy, a correction, or deletion
The site has no public email address yet, so there is one way to ask.
Send a message through the contact form and say what you want: a copy of your details, a correction, or deletion. Tell us the email address or phone number you used, so we can find the right record.
Children
This site is for adults arranging plumbing work on a home. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, ask us to delete them and we will.
Changes to this policy
We can change this policy. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top changes whenever the text does.
Questions
Questions about this policy go through the contact form. The terms of service cover the rest of how the site works.
